The American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese of which John is a long-time member and former member of the Board (1995-97). Provides information on its members and on events related to the teaching of Spanish and Portuguese.

The Florida Chapter of the ATA of which we are both active members. In addition to its data base of members, this site provides the latest news on happenings around the country in Translation and Interpretation, particularly in regard to training seminars and certification testing.

Florida International University Program in Translation and Interpretation. Contains information on our educational progams and extensive list of links to sites related to translation and interpretation, including hundreds of glossaries.

L'Association Internationale d'Interprètes de Conférence a Geneva-based association of conference interprters, of which Sula is a member. A very useful site for its data base and extensive articles and notes on interpreting.

The Sindicato Nacional dos Tradutores (SINTRA) an association based in Rio de Janeiro of which Sula is a founding member. Gives information on translation and interptretation in Brazil.

Verb-A-Team a company that I work with in providing services and products to the translator/interpreter, including training tapes and special recorder kits.
